At a Glance
  • Reduction of 175,000 tons of CO2 annually

  • Total installed capacity of 99 Megawatts

  • Annual net power generation of 204.2503 Gigawatt hours

Projects Benefits
  • Displaces the need for fossil fuel generated electricity

  • Reduces carbon emissions

  • Creation of jobs for local community members

  • Access to affordable clean energy

About renewable
These projects create the infrastructure needed to generate renewable energy harnessed from natural resources like the sun or wind. Once these sources are in place, they become a permanent source of clean energy.
How it works
  • Project developers fund the development of both wind power projects.

  • Local community members are brought on to help with development and maintenance of the facilities.

  • Once the power plants begin to generate electricity it's fed to the Northwest China Power Grid, displacing the need for fossil fuel generated electricity.

  • Access to clean and renewable energy is available.

Proof of Carbon Accounting
To ensure transparency, Green Story Carbon Registry tracks issuance and retirement of carbon credits for all projects on the Green Story offset platform.
